Travel Itinerary
This tour is for 6 hours and includes tasty and delicious Food of Delhi and when you taste the food of Chandni chowk belive me you really liked it.
1. Chandni Chowk Dahi Bhalla gram :
The real flavour of the Delhi street food lies in the chaat. The original chaat is a mixture of potato pieces, crispy fried bread, Dahi Bhalla, gram and tangy-salty spices. The mixture is garnished with sour home-made Indian chilly and saunth (dried ginger and tamarind sauce), fresh green coriander leaves and yoghurt. However, there are several other popular variants now, including the one with an Aloo Tikki. Let us explore a few of the chaat shops. Shree Balaji Chaat Bhandar (1462, Chandni Chowk; Noon to 10pm) is perhaps the best and most popular chaatwallah in Chandni Chowk.
2. Majnu Ka Tila hot Momos :
Momo recipe comes from Tibetan cuisine and one should try momos out at a Tibetan place. There is a Tibetan refugee colony (DU students swear by it) at Majnu Ka Tila Market and Potala House is a travel hotel/restaurant in Majnu ka Tila that was warmly recommended to me some days ago. For non-vegetarians, Potala is a heaven, as recommended by one of my friends.
3. Dwarka Famous Dosa :
Normally a Plain Dosa is made, but when this dosa is stuffed with a mix of Potato and Onions, it is known as Masala Dosa. Indian Dosas are not only famous in India but also in Foreign Countries.
